About

A map for the people you leave behind.

When someone dies, the family often spends months finding accounts, guessing at wishes and paying for subscriptions nobody uses. Digital Descendant exists so that one evening of your time saves them that.

What it is

A private planner and a printable letter. You list your accounts and devices, say what you want for each and where the way in is kept, and name helpers by role. The letter puts it all on paper for your executor.

What it is not

  • Not a password manager or a vault: it never asks for passwords, PINs, recovery phrases or card numbers, and refuses text that looks like them.
  • Not a will and not legal advice. It does not give anyone authority over your accounts.
  • Not an executor service: nobody here acts on your death, contacts anyone, or closes accounts for you. It sends nothing, ever.

Who runs it

Digital Descendant is built and run by WeldonPC, a computer services company in Ohio. Plans are stored encrypted, and we do not routinely read them. When you open a plan, our server uses your private link to decrypt and process it in memory. Read how your plan is protected.
